Gary Pitt was born in Rhodesia, now Zimbabwe, and attended Churchill High School in Salisbury. For the first three of his post-school years, he served a military conscription-obligation within the British South Africa Police. Thereafter, he entered the then-newly-evolving realms of IT and Computer Technology within that country. This vocational choice soon demanded his immigration to South Africa in 1982 in order to pursue his need for further technology challenges and the availability of more advanced training facilities. Gary has since been credited with over two decades of professional productivity within the IT Industry, having garnered an impressive range of technological expertise therein.

   Six years ago (2000) he made a dramatic career-switch by entering the unpredictable realms of Residential Property Sales. And during the past five years, Gary has served as an estate agent under the auspices of property companies such as 'Seeff' and 'Jawitz Properties'. 2006 has afforded him yet another move and he presently represents the international company of 'Engel & Völkers' in their newly established Johannesburg office.

In 2001, Gary was recruited into the GAENOR ARTISTES stable and began the inevitable 'cattle-call' process of castings and introductions to the auditioning process required for film. Formal acting training was virtually non-existent, although having already gained some voice training under the guidance of Bess Finney (around 1993), he later enrolled with Dorothy Ann Gould for further voice-coaching classes.

This led to Gary being cast in a number of television commercials, including 'ENOS' (August 2002), 'STANDARD BANK (September 2002), 'KELLOGG' (USA, September 2003) - then a dialogue role in 'EGOLI' in April 2004. In 2005 he played the role of Captain Rhodes, yet another dialogue role, in the international movie entitled 'WHERE OTHERS FAULTER', in Namibia.

Gary has long-since cherished a personal dream to live within the mountains and by the end of this year, 2006, he hopes to finally realise his dream. He has set his sights upon the glorious sandstone mountains of the Eastern Freestate, somewhere within the surrounds of the charming town of Clarens. There he intends to pursue his current focus upon real estate whilst simultaneously establishing a simpler and more spiritually focused lifestyle for himself and his life-partner.
